Pupil Awards: 

At the Model, we value the celebration of children’s achievements at all levels of learning and life. Class teachers praise pupils in various ways that suit the ages and stages of their class. Effort is rewarded just as much as outcomes. 

Each Friday we gather together to celebrate these achievements inside and outside of school. The following are just some examples: 

• Pupils of the Week (these awards are focused on our school Learning Powers, Ethos & Values) 

• Pupil of the Month (to celebrate the child who has impressed their teacher that month by showing the values of CMPS) 

• Pupil of the Term 

• Accelerated Reader 

• Matheletics 

• Sports Awards & Trophies  

• Music Grade certificates 

…and anything else that deserves to be recognised
